Meet the Board: Tracy Wirtes, Director

Tracy Wirtes is a solo practitioner in Rancho Cucamonga, focusing on accounting and taxes. Although Tracy was born in San Bernardino, she grew up in Northern Alabama and Southern California. When asked if she had any special talents, Tracy answered, “Hmmm … can’t think of any.” But most would disagree, as her hobbies include camping, watching Little League baseball while scorekeeping, needlepoint, reading, playing games with the boys, listening to music, wine tasting, cooking and entertaining. Tracy is president elect of the Rancho Cucamonga Rotary Club and is slated to be president in July. She is also active in the Deer Canyon Little League, Ontario Host Lions and Habitat for Humanity, serving in various capacities.

She has been married to Michael Wirtes, a certified financial planner and owner of a Mr. Handyman franchise, for 18 years. They have three sons: Christopher, 15; Daniel, 12; and Matthew, 10. Christopher is a sophomore honors student who plays football and wrestles at Los Solos High School. Daniel is a seventh-grader at Vineyard Junior High, who plays Junior Division Little League and loves to skateboard and boogie board. Matthew is in fourth-grade at Hermosa Elementary School and plays Minor Division Little League and likes to ride his bicycle and go camping.

Tracy’s great-grandmother was a full-blooded Cherokee, and Tracy’s thoughts she’d like to share with the chapter are, “Life is short. Have fun and make a difference in someone’s life.” Wise words to live by.
