Good Things
By Tara Eastwood, CPA
This is my last “President’s Message,” as my term has come to an end. I have had a wonderful time serving as your chapter president and representative. I would like to thank all of the officers, directors and committee chairs for their hard work over the year. I truly appreciate all that you do, and it has been a pleasure to get to know you better.
We had a great year! Our events were very well-attended , and we made our goal of presenting $12,000 in scholarships to local students. Thank you to all who participated in or sponsored our annual golf tournament, CPE events, committee meetings and Student/Faculty Night.
I would like to congratulate and welcome our incoming President Michelle Mord. She has some wonderful plans for the year, and I know with a little help from everyone in the San Joaquin Chapter that we can make them happen. Please be on the lookout for all of the chapter’s upcoming events. Whether you can participate a little or a lot, every bit is appreciated and helpful.
We can all get this year off to a great start by planning to attend the upcoming Annual Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, Aug. 18.
Thanks again. I hope all of you have a wonderful summer!
